What is the 2018 Titan's powertrain like?

The 2017 Titan comes standard with a new 5.6-liter Endurance V8 engine. With 390 horsepower and 394 lb-ft of torque, the new Titan engine is an improvement over the previous years' powertrains. Variable Valve Event & Lift and Direct Injection Gas technology are among the improvements to the engine, along with an 11.2:1 compression ratio (in comparison to the previous Titan's 9.8:1) and a Multi Control Valve to control engine temperatures. To match the new V8 engine, a heavy-duty automatic transmission has been specially tuned to handle the Titan's engine performance. While rear-wheel drive is standard on most models, 4WD is an optional upgrade and standard on the Pro-4X trim. Both rear and four-wheel drive models can achieve up to 21 miles per gallon on the highway.

What cab and bed options does the Titan have?

With options for single, crew and King cab levels, the 2017 Titan can be customized to prioritize cab or bed space, depending on driver needs. The smallest, single-sized cab offers a standard 8-foot bed for maximized cargo capacity, while the Crew cab prefers cab space over bed space, featuring a 5.5-foot bed. Splitting the difference is the King Cab, with plenty of seating space and a 6.5-foot bed. All bed sizes are outfitted with Nissan's Utili-track Bed Channel System, with adjustable cleats for limitless tie-down options, and features such as flush-mounted LED bedrail lighting, 11-volt in-bed access, and a spray-on bedliner. Watertight "Titan Box" storage boxes are available as a bed accessory. The boxes are lockable, drainable, and easily removed to increase bed space, and can be used for storage or as a cooler. The Titan's maximum payload and tow capacity depend on drive configuration. Four-wheel drive models can tow up to 9,230 pounds and has a maximum payload of 1,610 pounds, while the RWD options are capable of towing 9,390 pounds with a max payload of 1,590 pounds.

What are the interior cabin features of the Nissan Titan?

Several changes to the Titan's interior make the 2017 model the most driver-friendly Titan yet. Among these changes are a relocation of the shift lever to the steering column (from the previous position in the center console) and an increase in storage within the cab. Zero Gravity front and rear seats enhance comfort and posture support over long drives, and can be outfitted in either water-repellent fabric or durable leather upholstery. Adjusted switch and control positions by type and frequency of use optimizes interior organization, and features such as seven assist grips, 12-volt and 110-volt interior power outlets, remote start and a 5 or 7-inch entertainment and utility interface round out the Titan's array of interior amenities.
